Day 01- Transfer from San Jose hotel to Selva Bananito Lodge.
Pick up at 8:00 am approximated, arrival time to Lodge around noon. Enjoy a beautiful scenic drive through Braulio Carrillo National Park and the Caribbean lowlands.
Welcome cocktail at Selva Bananito Lodge, lunch, and fruits drinks included.
Tour of tree climbing: learn to use the safe tree climbing equipment, and venture into the canopy of a beautiful tropical tree. Alternate activity: enjoy a leisurely afternoon on your own. (Excellent bird watching!)
CANOPY EXPLORATION
Explore the world of epiphytes in the canopy of majestic trees. Enjoy a bird's perspective as you ascend 20 to 50 meters using a secure system of ropes, harnesses, and ascenders. Selva Bananito Lodge is a family owned rain forest lodge, which generates income from tourism for the protection of its private forest reserve. And for funding of important conservation programs in the region. Located 20 km south and 15 km inland from Puerto Limon on the Atlantic side of Costa Rica, adjacent to La Amistad Biosphere, the country largest protected expanse of virgin forests, comprised of Parque International La Amistad and surrounding reserves and parks. The forests of Reserve Bananito cover almost two thirds of the family land (about 840 hectares or 2,000 acres) One third is devoted to low impact agriculture and cattle management and the rest of the acres a virgin reserve for the enjoyment of the visitors.

Seven individual; cabins constructed of beautiful, salvaged wood. They stand on stilts, following Caribbean traditions. Spacious, elegantly tiled bathrooms with solar heated water, private to each room. Ample, decks with spectacular views and comfortable hammocks for you siesta. Each tastefully designed cabin features one queen size and one full size beds. A spacious rancho to enjoy your meals and socialize with other guests. Romantic, candle lit evenings. To preserve a more natural nights time ambiance, we use no electricity. Reading, lamps are provided in each cabin.

Day 02- Buffet breakfast
Tour to the waterfalls: a beautiful hike following the Bananito River upstream, deep into Selva Bananito Preserve. Picnic lunches and fruit drinks by a series of charming waterfalls. Rappelling at the waterfalls optional. Three-course gourmet dinner, fruit drinks and 3 national alcoholic beverages included.

• BUFFET BREAKFAST: a feast for all tastes featuring a choice of Costa Rican cuisine, fresh fruit, and continental breakfast.
• TOUR TO THE WATERFALLS: a beautiful hike following the Bananito River upstream, deep into Selva Bananito Reserve. Picnic lunch and fruit drinks by a series of charming waterfalls. RAPPELLING at the waterfalls optional (separate charge applies).

Day 03- Buffet breakfast
Horseback rides through the farm, have fun, and enjoy the lovely tropical scenery, and learn about the region's agriculture. Lunch and transfer to San Jose.
