Volcano Lodge is surrounded by many beauties of the nature of the tropical humid forest.
You can see Tucans (Ramphastus sulfuratus), (Ramphastus swainsonii), Oropendolas (Montezuma Oropendola), Tangaras (Ramphocelus passerinii) and many other species of birds as well as a Congo-monkey (alouatta palliata). River La Palma is passing our lodge.
This Hotel is located in Costa Rica along the roadside between La Fortuna de San Carlos and the Arenal Lake, facing the world famous Arenal Volcano. One of the most exciting things to do in Costa Rica can be to witness the activity of the country's most infamous volcano from Volcano Lodge Hotel. Spacious and comfortable rooms with two double beds, air conditioning and private bath with abundant hot water. Each room has a private terrace over viewing Arenal Volcano.
Located about 85 miles northwest of San Jose, Arenal is truly an active volcano. Its very loud and low rumblings can be heard intermittently throughout the day. In addition, in clear weather small eruptions can be seen against the night sky. The second reason to visit the area is to soak your bones in the natural hot springs. At the Hotel Volcano Lodge you can also witness the Arenal Volcano right from your room !
