Day 01:  
Pick up your 4x4 rental car at the airport. Overnight your hotel in San Jose

Day 02 & 03: 
Approximately, a 3.5-hour drive away, you will reach the San Carlos/Arenal area. For the next two days you will have the change to experience, at your pace, the very active Arenal Volcano, at the base of the volcano- El Tabacon Spa and it's soothing thermal waters. Visit the Arenal National Park area and learn of its varied flora with species such as the mountain Guayabo, Feijo, Rosewood, Chicle tree, Balsas and others. Also the value for the production of electricity and fish farming projects in the Moracia Irrigation District. Discover the main species of fauna are the Paca, Baird's Tapir, White-nosed Coati, sloths, jaguars, deer; birds such as parrots, parakeets, and the resplendent Quetzal. At the lodge you will have available, a biological reserve with 18 miles of beautiful trails properly market and designed to let you enjoy the lush vegetation, formed by epiphytes which covers the centenarian trees, hundreds of species of orchids, moss bromeliads, ferns, helicons and many other plants. Wind surfing, sport fishing canoeing, sailing, horseback riding, hiking, bird watching, mountain biking, cave exploring. Overnight local lodge.

Day 04 & 05: 
Approximately, a 2.5 hour drive away, you will reach the Tamarindo Beach area, there to experience some of the most awesome times ever. Available, almost white sand beaches. Beautiful bays and estuaries- protected nesting areas for the giant leatherback turtle  Turtle arrivals- October to March. A popular area for all year-round activities such as surfing, diving, snorkeling, beach and sailing cruises, boat and jet skiing, catamarans, ocean and river kayaking, wind surfing and horseback riding. Rental of bicycles, beach gear, surf and boogie boards are available from specialty stores. Temperatures in Tamarindo range between 80 and 100 degrees F. year 'round. Overnight local 4 star hotel.

Day 06: 
Drive to San Jose approximated 5 hours. Overnight at your San Jose hotel (3+ stars)

Day 07: 
Airport car drop off. (Check required drop time vs. departure time)
