Tamarindo is the famous spot in Costa Rica, for fishing billfish (sailfish, Black and Blue marlin), Wahoo, Tuna and Red Snapper. We in Hotel El Milagro are happy to arrange a half or full day fishing on a panga (local fishing boat) or a fully equipped 26' till 38' fishing boat

Surfing

In and around Tamarindo you find the six best surf-spots in Costa Rica. In front of Hotel El Milagro you find already three surf-breaks. So you can catch always a good wave in the neighborhood of your Hotel. We can also arrange a surf teacher for the less pro's and if you don't have a (Boogie) board you can rent it in Tamarindo.

Golf

The guests of Hotel El Milagro are welcome on the only two 18 holes golf courses in Guanacaste. The closest is Rancho Las Colinas it is a ten-minute drive from the hotel. The other one is the golf course from Hotel Meliá in Playa Conchal, which you will find on a distance of about 20 minutes drive.

Sailing Trips

Sailing trips on board of the comfortable 52 ft ocean cruising yacht, SAMONIQUE III, with round-the-world sailor Moni. We offer day excursions to desert bays and island, as well the Tamarindo's famous Sunset cruise. Experience unforgettable days on board fishing, diving, or trying your hand at navigating.

Scuba Diving

Scuba diving is taking place around Catalina's Island. Among the coral reefs and rocky outcropping swim snapper, grouper, yellow butterflies, angelfish, as well as manta rays, moral eels and several species of sharks. But you also can do your first lesson here at the professional diving school.
