First Day: Be prepare to leave your hotel in San José early in the morning. Admire the biodiversity of astonishing protected area in Costa Rica as we drive by Braulio Carrillo National Park a primary forest in 95% of its extension. If weather allows we will make a quit stop to view the waterfalls. Have a taste of our delicious Costa Rican breakfast en route.
Be our special guest in a banana processing and packaging plant and learn more about one of Costa Rica's prime product (subject to availability).
Board a comfortable boat upon arrival to the port and let this extraordinarily exotic paradise enchant you, as you travel along the Tortuguero Canals.
Have a one-in-a-lifetime experience in this unique place surrounded by a great variety of flora and fauna of breathtaking beauty. As you go by boat thourght the canals the guides will be watching out for all the animals like howler monkeys, birds of all kinds and many more things.
Enjoy a refreshing cocktail and delicious lunch as we welcome you to Evergreen Jungle Lodge in the heart of Tortuguero Tropical Rain Forest.
After lunch, we will visit the museum, the beach area and the small and picturesque town of Tortuguero. A delightful dinner will be served upon arrival to the lodge. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Optional Night Tour: Walk on the beach and admire the green turtles nesting (July through September) Tortuguero is the most important nestling site in the western half of the Caribbean for the endangered green turtle (Chelonia Midas)" 

SECOND DAY: As sunrise approaches you are going to start hearing the howler monkeys they will be your alarm clock. After a good Costa Rican breakfast you are ready to start your day. Your packages has several side trips to different areas. Tortuga Hill being one of the tour available you must be in excellent condition to take this hike. Exuberant, paradisiacal, mystical.. a natural network of scenic and navigable waterways. One of the most exotic and beautiful region of Costa Rica, rich in flora and fauna. Tortuguero is of the most exotic and beautiful region of Costa Rica, rich in flora and fauna making a prefect destination for your adventure package. Tortuguero is one of the wilderness areas in Costa Rica, with the greatest biological variety. 11 habitats had been identified, such as 2000 species of plants and 400 species of trees.
 There is also a very wide wildlife variety:
57 species of amphibians
111 species of reptiles
309 species of birds recorded
30 species of fresh water fish, included the Gar, considered to be a living fossil
60 species of mammals
In the afternoon you could go for a swimming in the Evergreen pool surrounded the the jungle or walk the ground to do some bird-watching. As the sun start to set you could be our guest at the bar and enjoy its excellent service. If you did not catch to Turtle nesting tour you could try again tonight.

THIRD DAY: You will have delicious breakfast and get ready to leave the Costa Rica Amazons.
You have a choice of how you want to depart;
1. By boat - It will be the same route you came in
2. By plane - We will transfer you to the airport for a 30 minute flight to San Jose.

***Notes; We advise you to come in by boat and go out by plane on your 3 days/2 night Tortuguero Adventure Package. This way you will have much more time to enjoy the beautiful area and on your third day by leaving by plane you will have the opportunity to visit another of Costa Rica magical destinations or catch your flight home .
