Tortuguero is warm and humid.
Daily temperatures average 79 F and annual average rainfall is over 200+
inches. Warm days are tempered by trade winds and cool nights. It is
after all a tropical rain forest and as such it will display the
characterizes. You should wear light cotton cloth as comfortable as
possible. Because the sun does not feel at time hard (but it will burn you)
we advise to take long sleeve shirts and sun location to protect your self.
The typical day will start with a clear morning and afternoon thunder
showers. At night you most likely will also get rain.
