Consider Costa Rica . . .

A tropical setting with a plethora of natural treasures and friendly people, combined with established infrastructure and efficient services. This is what Costa Rica can offer you as a site for meetings and incentive programs.

For approximately a decade, Costa Rica has received international attention as a unique tourism destination because of its unequaled natural resources, as well as its long-established democracy and peaceful status.

Since then, the tourism industry has gained growing sophistication, which has worked to ensure first-class service and the ability to meet a range of client demands, as well as the development of facilities and infrastructure suitable for an international market.

An adventure tourism center

Costa Rica has also established a reputation as an adventure tourism center with a multitude of offerings. With its virgin rainforest, world-class white-water rapids, rugged mountains, coral reefs, and other natural resources, the country offers a wide range of activities within a relatively small geographical area.

For an increasing number of meeting and incentive planners, this kind of destination proves just what they are looking for. Adventure and nature tourism is something different to offer clients who continually want new experiences. Company employees and conference attendees revel in the opportunity to experience nature in its true state, and to challenge themselves in new endeavors.

We can offer just what you need!

Founded in 1987, Aventuras Naturales is one of the oldest and most respected adventure tour operators in Costa Rica, offering white-water rafting, mountain biking, and hiking tours. We are fully licensed by the Costa Rican Tourist Board. Affiliated with SWISSRAFT, the largest adventure tour operator in Europe, we back our tours with years of experience in working with a variety of clients. We pride ourselves on quality tours that stand above the majority of adventure tours offered in Costa Rica.

Personnel

Our office staff are trained to develop custom programs and itineraries to meet the needs of the most demanding clients.

Aventuras Naturale's guides are some of the best-trained in the field. All are highly experienced professional white-water guides who have first aid, CPR, and swift-water rescue training. Many also have other certifications, such as wilderness first aid. A number have worked in North America and Europe as river guides, in addition to extensive experience on Costa Rica's rivers. A fully stocked first aid kit is standard equipment on all trips.

Transportation

Transport from San José to tour starting points is in luxury, late-model buses with air conditioning. Professional drivers assure efficient, punctual service with safety as the overriding concern.

Tour capacity

Aventuras Naturales has experience in operating one-day rafting trips for up to 150 passengers. Maximum capacity for multiday white-water rafting trips, with accommodations at our Pacuare Lodge, is 14 with double occupancy (or 21 with triple occupancy).
