Costa Rica Tango Mar Hotel Beach & Golf Resort

Curu Biological Reserve
& Montezuma Waterfall Tour

We will leave Tango Mar at approximately 7:30 a.m. and use a four-wheel drive to visit the Curu Biological Reserve. This private resort is owned by a Costarican family which will guide us through some of the primary and secondary forest and explain the flora and fauna of the region.

On the way to the reserve we will pause in Tambor (right) and Valle Azul which are some typical small towns of the Nicoya Peninsula and take in some of the day-to-day life of the villagers.

Once we finish our hike through the Curu Reserve, we will continue our ride to Montezuma and stop in the towns of Florida and Cobano (below) along the way, which are some of the larger towns in the area.

In Montezuma we will hike the trail to visit the 60 ft. Waterfall which is located in spectacular flora. You will have an opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the natural pool at the bottom of the waterfall. We will return around 4:30 p.m.

Recommendation:
sun screen, sun glasses, your camera,
hiking shoes, a bathing suit and a towel.
