By Air

We will pick you up at your San Jose Hotel or at the international airport and transfer you to the Local airport for a short 25 minute flight takes you to the Tambor Airport, which is located just 5 miles (8km) from Tango Mar. We will them pick you up at the Tambor airport and give you a transfer to the Resort.

This service is served daily by 2 companies.

Also, private flights can be arranged.

By Car

Drive for approximately one hour and thirty minutes from Juan Santamaria Airport to Puntarenas.

Take the ferry from Puntarenas to Paquera, in this relaxing top of one hour and fifteen minutes you can see the Gulf Islands, birds, dolphins, etc.

Once at the other side, Tango Mar is only a short forty minutes drive on a paved road, through mountains, forests, charming towns and panoramic ocean views.

Private land transfer

We will pick you up at your San Jose hotel or airport or this transfer could be done from just about any-where in Costa Rica (Monteverde, Guanacaste Beaches, Arenal Volcano, Manuel Antonio) The van has air conditioning and you will have a driver that speaks English since the van is completely private to you, take the opportunity to stop along the way to take photos or eat. This transfer give you a great deal of feasibility.

Special service from San Jose to Tango Mar

A shuttle service can be provided from San Jose; to Tango Mar hotel.

You are picked up at your hotel in San Jose; and drive 2 hours to Puntarenas, second largest port of Costa Rica. There, the driver puts you on the ferry that takes you to Paquera in one hour and fifteen minutes. In Paquera, we pick you up with our van and drive you in approximately 40 minutes to Tango Mar.

This pleasant trip of 4.5 hours includes land transportation, ferry tickets ask about our special rates.
