Location: The Barceló Playa Tambor is located in the pacific coastline. The inaugurated in November 1992. 

Transportation - There are 4 ways to get to the resort.

  • 1. You could flight in and be transfer the hotel, this is available from San Jose
  • 2. We could pick you up at your hotel and take you by bus to Puntarenas were you will board the ferry across the Golf of Nicoya and continue by bus to the Resort
  • 3. We could also rent a car for you and you could drive your self there.
  • 4. We also provide English specking guides to take you to the resort from any were in the country. This are private transfers that allow the customer to make stops along the way and even take in other tours on the way to the hotel.
