From Tamarindo on the beach you can make a trek to some of our National Parks like Santa Rosa, PaloVerde or you can even try a boat tour, where you can enjoy the nature and beauty that is Costa Rica.-the take you into the Tamarindo Mangove Estuary which is known for its wildlife. You can almost hear the sounds of the wildlife right.
This is the famous 'Irazu' volcanoes standing about 11,000 feet high. About 30 years ago it erupted , leaving the area (including the capital San Jose) looking like the site of an atomic explosion! You can visit the site and walk safely right up to the rim of the crater. At times can even hear it rumble and when you visit- you might even meet up with a volcanologist taking seismic readings.

At the Tamarindo Diriá Hotel you
can go to our tour desk by the front lobby and arrange any of our
many tours. These include turtles on the beach, volcanoes, rainforest,
cloud forest, snorkeling & diving and white-water rafting tours.
You will be picked up at the hotel and brought back - and all for
a reasonable cost! Most tours last for a full day or longer, and they
usually include breakfast and lunch.
