Arenal Volcano, Tabacón Hot Springs and Venado Caverns

A combination of adventure and calm, this tour starts out on the skirts of the monumental Arenal volcano, a perfect  coniferous formation that emanates lava year round.  Later as you dip into the hot springs you will leave all cares behind, Thereafter, you may go deep into the carves of Venado where interesting stalagmite and stalactite formations can be appreciated . The amazing Venado caves were formed during the Miocene period, 15 or 20 million years ago.  For many years they were under sea level and due to tectonic movements they surfaced.
